James A. Greene Jazz Guitarist

James Greene is a smooth jazz artist known for blending jazz, R&B, and soul through expressive guitar playing. Originally from Indiana, he later moved to California’s Bay Area, where cities like Oakland and Daly City inspired his album That Cali Swag, featuring a laid-back yet urban sound.

A musician since age 16, Greene has performed with various bands and toured the West Coast, including work with Funk Junction, The Masterplan, and Natural Four. Now based in Louisiana, he continues creating music, with songs ranging from soulful ballads to funk-infused grooves.

Two very special releases, “Karla” (a heartfelt tribute to his late sister) and “Stephanie” (inspired by his wife), showcase both his emotional depth and signature smooth jazz style.
